yum! brownie anything is always a favorite any time of year. there’s just something about brownies, we can’t resist! bursting with the most delicious chocolate flavor, why would we give it up? that is harsh! brownies are a timeless classic that is always going to be on the radar! plus, there are so many variations to choose from. like gooey, fudgy, cakey, chewy, loaded with goodies, frosted, cheesecake swirled, or holiday related. we love them all! as you already know, brownies are way addictive. plain and simple truth, they just taste delicious, because they are made with chocolate, butter, sugar, flour and eggs! no wonder, they taste incredible, right? mmmmm…i just made these gluten free, using bob’s 1:1 baking flour. they are delicious, fudge and chewy. thanks for another great recipe, kim! do you have a weight measurement for the chocolate? 1cup of chopped chocolate is very imprecise. smaller chops, more chocolate.
welcome to broma bakery -a fine mix of indulgence with a whip of sweet resources in between. i’ve made these twice – once with all purpose flour and once with robin hood cup for cup gluten free blend. i tried making these last night. for the first batch, i used unsweetened chocolate and baked them for 10 minutes.
they turned out horrible and were rock hard after cooling. the second and third batch i made using semi sweet chocolate (which from my understanding is the same as bittersweet) and i baked them for 10 minutes. in your recipe, it says “make sure you’re using a bittersweet or dark chocolate unsweetened chocolate.” i am wondering if you can change this to dark chocolate so people don’t get confused and use unsweetened chocolate, like i did the first time? sorry about any confusion there. but that wording in the blog post was confusing!
